Compassionate Care

We provide a full-time staff and various levels of service to best accommodate our residents. Individualized assistance is available and our general care plans include:

Standard Care

Consists of three meals plus snacks, laundry, medication assistance, structured recreation activities, and transportation to and from doctor visits.

Advanced Care

For those who need extra assistance, this service includes Standard Care plus bathing, activities of daily living (ADL's), incontinence care, transportation and managed care (RN collaboration with physicians at doctor visits), wound care, skilled nursing care, and transfer assistance (from bed to wheelchair/wheelchair to bed).

A Comfortable Atmosphere

We help each resident be as independent as possible through assistive equipment like electric beds and lifts. Residents also have the option to bring their own furniture or choose a pre-furnished room. The house sits on one acre of land with a beautiful garden view that is perfect for family get-togethers and structured recreation activities such as:

The facility at Lighthouse Of Care, Inc., has six spacious rooms and four full bathrooms. We offer three single occupancy rooms and three double occupancy rooms for couples or related family members. Walk-in closets are available with larger rooms. Two bathrooms have wheelchair accessible showers and two are standard showers. All bathrooms have safety bars in the shower and toilet areas. For an extra level of safety, the home has a fire and sprinkler system that is directly linked with the Arlington Fire Department. Our rates are more affordable than the national statistic for this kind of service. Rates start at $3500 per person and vary based on level of care required. Room descriptions:

Room 1: Single Occupancy, 100 square feet with windows toward the front of the house. Wheelchair accessible room with a standard closet.

Room 2: Single Occupancy, 200 square feet with windows toward the front of the house. Has private bathroom and walk in closet. Wheelchair accessible room with walk in closet. Shared Jack and Jill style bathroom with Room 3. Upon request, this room could accommodate a couple.

Room 3: Single Occupancy, 175 square feet with windows toward the back garden area and patio. Wheelchair accessible room with roll in closet. Shared Jack and Jill style bathroom with Room 2. Upon request, this room could accommodate a couple.

Room 4: Double Occupancy, 200 square feet with window to the side yard. Wheelchair accessible room with a double size walk in closet. 

Room 5: Double Occupancy Room, 400 square feet with a triple size walk in closet. Bay window area to the side yard. Wheelchair accessible room with one covered parking spot included.   

Room 6: Double Occupancy Room, 300 square feet, with windows facing the front of the house. Wheelchair accessible room with one standard walk in closet and one large walk in closet. Private bathroom with a spacious roll in shower, and one covered parking spot included.
